Troubleshooting

Start with the boundary involved: download, local editing, Typst compilation, or web sharing.

Download Problems

Use /download for the current desktop release. On macOS, read the install note on that page if quarantine blocks a build while notarization is being finalized.

Typst Preview Is Unavailable

Advanced preview and export require the desktop Typst backend. If the running build reports that the backend is unavailable, install a release build that bundles the document-engine resource or use the standard PDF renderer for a simpler document.

Sharing Is Unavailable

Local editing can continue offline. Reconnect and sign in before creating or updating a web share link.
