One Workspace for Technical Writing
Notexs is a desktop-first writing workspace for Markdown notes, technical documentation, research material, and PDF documents. It keeps everyday notes fast while giving layout-sensitive work a dedicated PDF editor and a Typst-backed document engine.
Local-First by Default
Desktop notes are stored locally so writing does not depend on a constant network connection. Server-backed actions are used when you explicitly create a web share link or use another online workflow.
A Simple Starting Point
The usual flow is simple: install the desktop app, create a workspace, add a notebook when a project needs structure, then choose the document type that matches the work.
